Och så har jag sytt mörkläggningsgardiner till sovrummet då.
Rickard is working this weekedn so our Midsummer celebration was very quiet (as usual actually). The new thign was that instead of going down to one of the parks to dance around the maypole we exchanged money for convenience and went to Liseberg, the smusement park which is just where we live to dance. We also rode some of the kiddie attractions, since that's about the level of twirling and up-and-down that Rickard and I can appreciate. Then we went home and ate the traditional Midsummer food: herring, new potatoes cooked with fresh dill, sour cream, chives, strawberries and cream. Not mixed together. And Maja and I had small sausages, becuase we don't like herring.
På väg ner till Liseberg.
On our way down to Liseberg
I Göteborg är förstås midsommarstången prydd med blåvita band. Nere på Liseberg.
The maypole. Decorated with blue and white ribbons, which are the colours of the town's arms. And also of the football team that I love. This is down in the amusement park.
Jag och Lasse Dahlquist.
Me and the statue of one of my favourite artists: Lasse Dahlquist.
Och den obligatoriska krans-selfien.
And the mandatory selfie with a garland of flowers. Very Swedish midsummer.
Och så slutligen: Gardinerna.
And finally: The curtains
